Jamie got in at number 10.

But what I really wanted to know was what you think about the rest of the top 10?

I was pleasantly surprised seeing as it's NME. Just a shame Horrors were number 1. I didn't really enjoy their new album. It was a bit meh.

i don't know any of the bands in that list. it's good to see Jamie's number 10 though. too bad Florence + The Machine is not in even in the top 20.

I couldn't really say, i've never listened to any of those bands apart from jay t, frank turner: poetry of the deed should of been in there.

If you've never listened to any of those bands, I definitely recommend Wild Beasts' Two Dancers which was 4.
It's lovely.

The XX, fooking class. Well worth a listen if you get a chance. Not heard it all but like what I heard from The Yeah Yeah Yeahs latest.

Ps not heard anything by the Fuck Buttons but might give em a go for their exceptional name.
Yeah man you can can!

I saw Wild Beasts about 2 years ago when they were supporting Jack Penate, they good for the comedy aspect. The irony of their names and eccentricty it was genius. I wouldnt listen to them out of choice though I must say. I havnt really followed them much though or heard alot of their recent things.

i thought the order was better than usual.
The Horrors, The xx, Wild Beasts and, of course, Jamie T all deserved to be up there.
The Big Pink album is good as well, as long as you skip dominoes...
I was unimpressed by Yeah Yeah Yeahs coming in 3rd as I thought it was there worst album yet and seeing them get best track with Zero was an outrage, its not even the best track on that album let alone all year!
Nice to see Girls and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart in the top 20
Camera Obscura and Noah And The Whale should of been higher in my opinion...

Oh, he also got 53 in their top albums of the decade with Panic Prevention
http://www.nme.com/list/the-top-100-greatest-albums-of-the-decade/158049/page/5

Also, the album that was good enough to be their number one of the year, The Horrors, came 68th whereas their fouth best album of this year, WIld Beasts, came 41.
What the fuck? :P

This is all such a bunch of ballbag.
