I would slay a man for a tab of "Brand new bass guitar"

I only heard the song once on some not so quality live recording so not had the oppertunity to give it a bash myself. Any help greatly appreciated!

To the almost above poster: Just had a quick noodle before 'moff to work and I got you the verse part sorted (timing not as shown, but its clear which notes are where)

G|-----------------|
D|-----------------|
A|3---0------------|
E|---------0---1---|

Standard tuning

Well then slay me because i think I just done gone worked it out...

Far as I can tell the main chord progression is D / Gm / F.

I worked it out on an acoustic guitar and because of the way jamie plays his bass its hard to hear exactly whats going on.

The bit that sort of doesnt work is 'we all know what we got to do" part and I think it's just Gm / F but I can't be sure.

It sounds pretty good on an acoustic, especially if you barre as much of it as possible.

Would it be a faux pas to make passionate love to you?

If so, then just a CHEERS!

Hah! I'll just take the 'cheers' thanks!

The D chord doesn't sound so good when you play along to the record or sing along which I think is because Jamie alternates between two notes maybe D and E? Not sure, there's sort of enough there to get the rest anyway.
