Southampton Guildhall 02/02/2010 short review and setlist.

Cobbo wrote:What a f***ing night that was! This was my first Jamie T gig and def' won't be my last. The crowd was excellent and really up for it, as was Jamie and the band and the songs sounded so good live (as is not always the case- Razorlight being an example).

The highlight of the evening had to be Chaka Demus as the crowd went mental and the atmosphere resembled that of one big party.

Setlist for the evening, (although not in correct order apart from first 2 and last 2) was :-

The Man's Machine
Salvador
Back In The Game
Operation
So Lonely Was The Ballad
Sheila
Pacemaker (speeded up )
If You Got The Money
Alicia Quays
368
Emily's Heart
Spiders Web
Earth Wind and Fire
British Intelligence
Northern Line
Chaka Demus
Sticks and Stones

I think that's all of them and he played for approx 1hr 20min

if you haven't seen him live yet I urge you to go and buy a ticket and witness for yourself the genius that is Jamie T.

s_kimish wrote:He was absolutely quality, he said afterwards how much he enjoyed the Southampton gig back in '07 and he'd been looking forward to coming back.

Highlight of the night for me had to be before Chaka Demus, where Jamie invited the audience to throw anything they could get their hands on, onto the stage as long as he could throw it back

I went for a KFC afterwards, then on the way to the taxi we saw Ben 'Bones' Coupland and the bassist (can't remember his name) ... gave us free beers and told us that if we waited ten minutes Jamie would be out ... so we did :D

You know what strikes me as funny.. :)

We are on here everyday and there are new posts and new conversations everyday.

But you never know how old the person is you're talking too.
Whether the person is a boy or a girl. Stuff like that you know.

Edit: damn you can def tell I was tired when I wrote this. It was full of mistakes haha. Changed them now :)

Haha yeah, turned 18 a few months ago, but thanks for the compliment.

I think a thread should be made, maybe a post a picture thread or a describe yourself thread ... might be interesting :)

Yeah I think that would indeed be very interesting. Might be a nice thing to start soon.
Will work on that.
Like some sort of introduction page where the (common) posters can 'introduce' themselves.
Obviously not just the common but yeah, don't mean to be rude, I'm just not looking forward to introductions of people who are never on here.
